Well, he isn’t quite HERE. In fact, he’s freezing somewhere in Boston.
I met Ron “Everette” in 1994 looking to do my voice-over work and we clicked right off the bat. We worked so well together, we had a rather successful business for a number of years.
I’ve known Ron for about 34 years, but he moved away in 2011 because I was mean and angry. I’ve spoken to him sporadically but it was not like it used to be.
My anger cost me many friends, but losing Ron hurt the most. Ron knows more about me more than my own brother. We did everything together including fabulous LA/Hollywood events and wonderful holiday meals. I remember Ron and his sweet, Wife Emy, from Switzerland, who invited me for an awesome Thanksgiving dinner in 1999. We shared a fabulous meal with many friends that day, topped off by delicious Swiss chocolate brought over by Emy.
This is one of many splendid memories I shared with my non-genetic brother, Ron.
But I’m ecstatic to say Ron is back in my life again, even if via Zoom and phone. We’re doing some business together again as well as sharing time.
I’m so thankful he is back.
As for my real brother…he texted me some animated gifs and we will go from there.
This is a grateful, CJ Davidson, signing out, for now. 😀
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
