Also, why does the government care if you have digital TV? Why does the government care if teen-age girls have abortions? Regardless of being gay or not, why does the government care of your married at all? I don’t see ANYTHING in the constitution about marriage. I see Life Liberty or the Pursuit of happiness and 10 amendments. Nothing on Marriage or digital TV.

Bravo!

Logic Class – The dangers of the Slippery Slope Argument – “Your either with us or your with the terrorists.” Was the battle cry for 8 miserable years from Dubya/Cheney, giving them the ultimate power to illegally wiretap, torture, hold prisonors indefinitely and a list of felonies to lengthy to mention here. This “Slippery slope logic” or 2 dimensional thinking was also used on German in 1933 when the Richstag burned down. “Give me total power and I’ll protect you. If your not with us, you’re a traitor.” And of course the rest is human slaughter...as in Iraq. Just because we disagree with your idot revenge and plundering and rape of Iraq, does NOT mean we hate America as Micheal Moore was demonized so badly when criticizing the Moron in chief, Dubya.

Part 3 and the Need for information

Why do we need information? World War II (for those who had the chance to read up on that) was not won by brute force. It was won with information. At the battle of Midway, USN Commander Joseph Rochefort and his team cracked the Japenese code, allowing us to react to and defeat the Japanese Imperial Navy, thus allowing us to win the Second world war. This held true in Europe when we cracked the Nazi code.

 

 

AS in Planet of the apes when they gave that astronaut a lobotomy and then said, “See. I told you he couldn’t talk.” To which Charlton Heston replied (before his mind warped into a right-wing drooling nut). “Well, he can’t now. You cut out his brain, you bloody baboon!” Don’t let them cut out our brains. Information is not only key to survival but it is essential for the growth and prosperity for not only yourself but for the nation.

          As they have been dumbing us down for 8 years with slashing education and tutoring programs, this makes you vulnerable to bullshit like “Iraq was connected to Al-Qaida in 911” or “Social security is gonna collapse if we don’t privatize it.” All misinformation no one challenged... and with disastrous consequences.

If I didn’t’ know better, I’d say we were governed by lobbyists and foreign governments. I have nothing against foreign investment..unless its used to PURCHASE OUR LAWMAKERS...like Saudi Arabia, our Oil Masters or Isreal our theocratic masters/
