The following correspondence is in response to my letter to Blogtv.com regarding my account suspension after my broadcast of dancers wearing pasties. I asked why the above vid with pasties on youtube.com was not considered nudity, but was on blogtv.com:
"Generally speaking we really love your show and do want you to continue showing the artistic costumes and events you broadcast. However, we have trouble bending the rules for one person when it will cause problems with the rest of the community.
The thing that differentiates our rules from youtube's rules is that this is live broadcasting as opposed to videos which can be checked and then approved. With live content you just cant know what will happen next, so the mods are trained to block anything with nudity or very close to nudity.
I would really prefer if you could keep pasties off of the shows if you possibly can. I know you aren't going to start showing full nudity, but I want to keep the peace in the community as much as I can.
If you are showing prerecorded video of this, is there any way you could censor that bit perhaps? I'm not sure what tools you have at your disposal, but I want to make some sort of compromise."

Kara,
Thank you for your kind words and understanding my intent.
I appreciate your position and will do my utmost to EDIT my broadcasts. As a matter of commerce we SAVE these questionable, and albeit even bizarre moments for our DVD sales, so it is in our best interest to keep the goodies under wraps!
I do beg your understanding that if I happen to leave a "questionable" moment while going to the restroom or while I work that I don't get my account bounced so quickly. lol
I INVITE you and your moderators in to possibly contact me directly though private chat or my skype name (cj_davidson), if possible to let me know if I have accidentally crossed a line, as I am not here to offend but to entertain, inform and possibly educate the "Geographically Challenged" who cannot physically share our alternative world.
I look forward to seeing you in my chat for more insight, Kara!
Thank you for understanding! :)

Yes, we can certainly work out a warning system with you. In fact it was one of our newest moderators that did block your show and I would imagine you would have been spoken to first had it been one of our older mods. I apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you at the time and I hope to see a lot more from you in the future ;)
